John D. Kehoe

John David Kehoe, age 83, born December 17, 1933 to Charles Anthony Kehoe and Mary Bovaird (Bovard) Kehoe died April 18, 2017 in Lewes, DE. Mr. Kehoe  was born in Illinois and graduated from Kankakee High School.  Following his service in the Navy, he worked for the National Security Agency and retired in 1989 with 40 years of service. During his career with NSA, he lived in College Park and Millersville, MD. Following his retirement, he maintained homes in Terra Alta, WV and Lewes, DE. His many interests included history, travel and antique cars - especially Studebakers. Mr.  Kehoe is survived by his wife Suzanne Kehoe of Lewes, DE, his son Robert Kerry Kehoe, his daughters Christina M. Lear and Cheryl L. Kehoe and sons in-law Elmer Hefner and Geoffrey Lear. He is also survived by his sisters Regina M. Spencer and Sister Elizabeth Kehoe (CND), and his grandchildren Elmer A. Hefner III and Katahdin D. Kehoe.  Visitation will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, MD on Saturday, April 22, from 3-5 pm and 7-9pm.  The funeral and burial will take place in Odell, Il on April 26th.   In lieu of flowers,  contributions may be made to the Beebe Healthcare Intensive Care Unit at 902 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958 in appreciation of the compassionate care Mr. Kehoe received from the nursing and medical staff.
