John Joseph Rey

   On November 8, 2021, John Joseph Rey was called home to his Heavenly Father. He is the beloved father of Diane Marie Rey and son-in-law Ronald C. Fisher Jr., the late John Michael Rey, Jacqueline Minnette Shomper and son-in-law James, David Matthew Rey and daughter-in-law Amy, and Karyn Michelle Tutin and son-in-law Kevin. He is the cherished grandfather of Matthew David Johnson, Krista Jacqueline Fisher, Joshua Michael Tutin, Alexander Edward Johnson, Mollie Sarah Shomper, Samuel David Rey, Carley Michele Rey, Nellie Alexandra Rey, the late Jordyn Ella Rey, and Josiah Matthew Rey.
    He served in the United States Marine Corps and was an active member of Saint Clare parish in Essex, Maryland while raising his family. A wine sommelier, he LOVED all things Italian, drum core, his family, and above all, God our Father.
    Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on
Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
