John Zukas

John Robert Zukas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

He was predeceased by his wife Joan Arlene Zukas (Ross). Predeceased by parents Thomas Bartholomew Zukas and Catherine Gertrude Zukas. Predeceased by brothers Thomas Zukas, Joseph Zukas, Charles Zukas, James Zukas. Survived by brother Robert Frances Zukas. Survived by daughters/husbands Jill Zukas Harris and Lawrence Harris, and Joy Lynn Mayne and Lee Mayne. Grandchildren Ross Harris, Laura Harris  and partner Deontae Dyson, Joshua Mayne and Timothy Mayne. Great grandchildren Isaiah John Harris and Leilani Grace Dyson.

Graduate of Towson Catholic High School (1954) and The Johns Hopkins University (1972). Served in The United States Navy (1954-1958), Honorably Discharged. Worked at Monroe Business Machines in the early 1960's. Retired after 31 years from Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent Technologies (1996). Faithful and active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, First Lutheran Church of Gray Manor and St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Member of Men In Mission, The Oak Road Boys, Seaside Pleasure Club and Marco Hunting and Fishing Club. He was also a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and Helping Up Mission.

A public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Sunday March 23, 2025 from 1-3 & 5-7pm. A funeral service to celebrate John's life will be held at the funeral home the following day at 11 am. A graveside service will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
