Juanita Akers-Rader

On January 3, 2020, Juanita Akers-Rader; devoted mother of Alice Faye Price, Sammy Lee Akers, Stanley Lawrence Akers, Howard Keith Akers, Gayle Ann Shaney, Michael Duane Akers, and the late Merle Harold Akers. Juanita was blessed with 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jean Elswick, and many loving nieces and nephews, friends and family.

Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A funeral service to celebrate Juanita's life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Juanita's memory may be made to the Dundalk Church of God, 6 Yorkway, Dundalk, MD 21222.
