Karen D. Brandau

Karen Brandau (nee Branham) of Perry Hall, age 72, peacefully passed away on March 21, 2023. Born September 1, 1950 to the late Frank Branham and Myrtle "Miles" Branham. Karen was survived by her daughter Dawn Maher and her husband Travis; grandchildren Bobby Hess of Bel Air and Brittany Aris of South Carolina; and great-grandchildren Alex, Abby, Penelope, and our little angel Briella Rose. She is also survived by her brothers Vince and Frank, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as her very best friend Debbie Wallace. Karen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Larry Brandau and her brother Daryl.

The family would like to thank the amazing team at Senator Bob Hooper House for their compassionate care during her month and a half stay. Special thanks to Stacy Pospisil. Additionally, the family would like to thank all of their family and friends for their support and prayers, specifically Vince and April, Bobby, Brittany, Debbie Wallace, Leah Blanch, David, Wendy Branham and Mandee Hasenei, and Alex, who spent time with Karen prior to her passing and made her feel very loved.

Karen can now fly high with my dad, grandma, and Briella Rose. Her wishes were to not have any service, but memorial donations in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association.
