Karl E. Rawlings

On December 11, 2017, Karl E. Rawlings, age 77, died of lung cancer.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Patricia A. Rawlings (Doty); devoted father to Suzanne Roesner and her husband Jack, Joanna Fitts and her husband Shane, Raymond Snyder, Mary Barcikowski and her husband Joseph, and Jeffery Snyder; loving Grandfather to 14 and Great-Grandfather to 21; dear brother to Judy Human, James Rawlings, and the late Dennis Rawlings. Karl retired from BGE after more than 30 years of dedicated service.  He enjoyed riding his Harley, and spending time with his family and friend.      The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Thursday, December 14, from 5 to 8 p.m.  A memorial service to celebrate Karl’s life will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, 700 Anchor Drive, Joppa, MD  21085.
