Katherine Garnis

Katherine Garnis was born in Chios, Greece in 1927 and came over to America in 1940 as one of four sisters: Despina,Mary and Helen and father Theodore and mother Angela.She was the wife of the late Phillip Garnis and she is survived by her daughter Audrey and Rick and granddaughter Samantha. She is also survived by her son William and daughter in law Nancy. My mom was known to be a beautiful well dressed lady and was actively involved in the family restaurant business Phillips Inn.  She always had a nice smile and would always make you feel welcome. She will be missed.

The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. Dundalk, Md. 21222 on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, 12 noon at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 520 Ponca St, Baltimore, MD 21224. Interment to follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
