Kathryn Brubach

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathryn R. Brubach, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Kathryn peacefully departed this world on January 1, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born on August 5, 1938 and lived a life filled with love, compassion, and devotion to her family.

Kathryn is survived by her cherished children, Jack Brubach and his wife Beanny, Peggy Brubach, Steven Brubach and his wife Janelle, Donald Brubach and his wife Ieshe and Donna Oliver and her husband James. Kathryn was a proud grandmother to Wade Spradlin, Corey Spradlin, Petrina Quaranta, Riley Brubach, Alexi Rogers, Carley Rogers, Brayden Filling, Donovan Brubach, Kailah Brubach, Ryan Oliver, and Meaghan Drasal. She also leaves behind her wonderful great-grandchildren: Aleigha Spradlin, Ryder Spradlin, Maddison Spradlin, Kayden Spradlin, Olivia Quaranta, Valentino Quaranta, Gunnar Drasal, and Charlotte Oliver. Kathryn will also be missed deeply by her siblings, Marge Rutkowski, Dolores West, Patricia Brubach, and Frederick Schwartzhaupt, as well as her nephew Wayne Brubach.

Kathryn is remembered for her caring and selfless nature. She had a unique gift for bringing joy to others, especially through her delicious homemade birthday cakes and her renowned iced tea. A lover of crossword puzzles, she spent many joyful hours challenging her mind and sharing laughs with family and friends.

A public viewing to celebrate Kathryn's life will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM followed by interment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, 10201 Bird River Road 21220.

While Kathryn has left this world, her spirit and love will forever hold a place in the hearts of those who knew her. She has touched the lives of so many, and her legacy of kindness will continue to inspire her family and friends in the years to come.
