Lonnie Anderson

On October 3, 2022, Lonnie Anderson passed away. He was born March 27, 1940 to James and Ruby Anderson in Pageland, South Carolina. He was one of seven children. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth Anderson. He and Ruth had five children. Deborah Mullin (Ronald), Lonnie Anderson Jr., Carolyn Haas (Stephen), Gary Anderson (deceased) and Brian Anderson (deceased). His parents James and Ruby are both deceased as well as Ruth's parents Benjamin Swiger and Esther Adams. Lonnie is also survived by three sisters, Elaine Willis, Mary Dorsch and Peggy Anderson. He had three brothers who are deceased, Tommy Anderson, James Anderson and Billy Anderson. He is also survived by his very special sister and brother in-law , Linda and Klint Louderback and their two children Dr. Teaette Louderback-Smith (Joseph) their children Haley, Taylor and Joseph and Daylin Louderback (Jeanmarie) and their son Zephyr. Lonnie had five grandchildren, Jennifer Green, Dawn Cessna (Bruce), Travis stokes (Brittany), Amanda Hernandez (Ignacio) and Lauren (Michael) Fourteen Great grandchildren, Madison, Brayden, Carson (deceased), Colton, Thomas, Taylor, Alexis, Eric (deceased), Chance, Zachary, Evelyn, Kaylee, Brian and Rogan. Four Great Great Grandchildren Remington, Lillyanna, Spring and Angelo. Extended grandchildren, Kennedy, Landon and Brodie.

Lonnie worked at Welsh Construction, Owens Yacht and for independent contractors early in his career. Later he worked for the International Carpenters Union Local #101 where he retired from after more than 50 years. He was also a member of King David Mason's Lodge #68. Lonnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, old cars and Nascar races. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family.

He was loved by all and will be missed dearly. Love you DAD!

Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A funeral service celebrating Lonnie's life will be held on Saturday, 10:00 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
