Luis Arroyo

Luis Antonio Arroyo was born in New York City on June 29, 1955. Better known as Tony to family and friends, he is survived by his wife Iris, children Mark, Lauren and Lisa, and grandchildren Sabrina and Anthony. He passed away on January 7, 2020 in Baltimore, Maryland where he and his family had resided for the last 30 years.

Tony was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Accepting of everyone he met, he was very affectionate and always quick to give hugs. Tony had a distinct sense of humor with signature sayings and inside jokes with all that were closest to him. He never feared getting lost with his keen sense of direction, Tony always chose the scenic route and reveled in the adventure. He enjoyed science fiction and watching sports, but his passion was to collect music from around the world and DJ at family gatherings. Tony was an excellent cook and always had a story to tell for any circumstance. He was an artist and a writer with impeccable penmanship. Tony excelled in mathematics and enjoyed playing with numbers in his daily life.
