Luise E. Stone

Luise Emily Stone, peacefully passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 82 in Perry Hall, Maryland. She was born on November 20, 1940 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Louis and Sophie Michelberger. She was preceded in death By her parents, sister Vilma Mugrage, sister Charlotte Gerhart, brother Louis (Butch) Michelberger, and daughter Katrina Luise Stone.

Luise will be deeply missed by her children, Luise Fortney and husband Ken of Perry Hall and son James Hess Jr and wife LaNaie of Sonoma, California. She was also a cherished grandmother to Karissa Hess, Zachary Fortney, James Hess III, and Aiden Fortney. 

Luise attended Patterson High School and Church Home and Hospital School of Nursing. She worked in the medical field her entire career as a nurse until she retired in September 2003 from the VA Hospital in Dallas, TX. After retirement she moved back to Maryland to be closer to her extended family. 

The funeral services for Luise will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, located in Dundalk, Maryland. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 26, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, where a service will be held at 7 pm.

The family would like to extend their love and gratitude to family and friends for their support during this difficult time.
