Lydia Filipidis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lydia P. Filipidis on October 20, 2024. Lydia was born on January 14, 1952, in Maryland.

Lydia will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Nicholas Filipidis, her loving son James Filipidis, beloved grandchildren, Maria, Nikoletta, and Michael, sister to Steven Angelos (wife Maria) and the late Paul Angelos. She is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Lydia was the former owner of Jimmy's Restaurant in Fells Point. She had a deep passion for spending time with her grandchildren. Her nurturing and guiding presence will forever be cherished across all generations.

Family will receive friends at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church on Thursday October 24, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 am. Followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
