Manuel G. Koukoulas

Manuel G. Koukoulas, 85, husband of Anthi Koukoulas, father of Hariklia Christina Koukoulas-Nezis and husband Nicholas, grandfather of Andrianna and Anthi, brother of Toula Woods and the late Victor Woods and the late Dr. Paul Koukoulas. Mr. Koukoulas is additionally survived by loving nieces, nephews and family. Manuel passed away peacefully in his home with family present. Manuel lived a full life. He was born in the town of Malona on the island of Rhodes, Greece. His family came to the United States when he was in high school. He loved to box and play soccer. He also loved to Greek dance. Although his heart was always in Greece, he loved this country and served in the US Army.   He dedicated his life to his loving wife Anthi and daughter Hariklia. He was blessed to meet his grand daughters Anthi and Andrianna. As he fought various medical challenges, he always stated that his goal was to be around long enough for them to remember him. It is with this final blessing fulfilled that he leaves us. Visitation with family will be at the CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME of DUNDALK, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Thursday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Interment will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery.  Also, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
