Mary Pizlo

Mary Pizlo, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2023. Born on May 1, 1930, Mary led a life filled with love, joy, and cherished moments with her family and friends. She was 93 years old.

Mary, a beloved wife to the late Melvin Pizlo, a devoted mother to her loving daughter, Linda Long, and son, Melvin "Ken" Pizlo, Sr. She also leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandsons, Melvin "Ken" Pizlo Jr. and Daniel Pizlo, and her granddaughters, Savanah Pizlo, Mackenzie Long, and Alexandra Long. Mary was thrilled to be a great-grandmother to Clifton and Beau. In addition to her immediate family, Mary is survived by her brother, Dominic Mastroianni, who shared countless cherished memories with her.

Mary's lively spirit was evident in her hobbies and passions. She fondly reminisced about the joy she found in trips with Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, cherishing every moment shared with her community. Mary had a competitive nature and enjoyed participating in duckpin bowling tournaments, where she showcased her impressive skills. She loved the thrill of visiting casinos, trying her luck and enjoying the excitement of the games. Mary also enjoyed and loved all kinds of flowers.

The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Mary will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, 7401 German Hill Road.

As we say goodbye to Mary, let us remember her for the joy she brought into our lives, her kindness and support, and the beautiful moments we shared with her. Her spirit will forever remain in our hearts, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire us.
