Mary Frances Snyder 6/12/32 - 4/3/18 Fran Snyder passed away in her home after a long illness. She is survived by her children Judy Wilmot, Lorraine Falloni, Nancy Sheppard, Scott Verzier, Joanne Newman and their families. Her nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren, her sister Myrna Lee, nieces and nephews and cousins. Proceeded by her husband Donald Snyder, her son Bruce Verzier, her mother and father, along with Grandma Maggie and her sisters Peggy and Joan Kennedy. She mourned all their losses so deeply! Frances was born and spent her early childhood in Charlottesville, Va before moving to Baltimore with her Mom and sisters. She was a Girl Scout, active in the American Legion and devoted to raising her children. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. She surrounded herself with all of her precious collections, especially cats of all shapes and sizes. She was an avid reader of historical novels and enjoyed cake decorating and possessed enormous artistic talent and creativity. When her kids were grown she remarried and then moved to Colorado for a seveal years before returning to settle in Edgemere, MD. They enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and being in nature. She had a long career with Blue Cross and Blue Shield as a Claims Supervisor before retiring to care for her elderly mother and father. She was a sweet, kind and wise woman and will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved her! We pray that she has found peace in heaven, after fighting such a hard battle for so many years. There will be a Memorial Gathering of friends and family on Saturday April 21st in Parkville, MD.
