Michael G. Cornias

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael G. Cornias on February 27, 2024, at the age of 86. Born in Greece on May 8, 1937, Michael was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Fotini Cornias.

Michael will be remembered fondly by his children, Konstantinos Cornias, Mark Cornias and his wife Kiriaki, Harry Cornias, John Cornias and his wife Christina, George Cornias and his wife Irene, and his 9 cherished grandchildren, Michael, Fotini, Evangelia, Michael, Tommy, Fotini, Michael, Markella, and Dimitri.

To honor his memory and pay respects, a public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, located at 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Friday March 1, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 PM. During the public viewing, a Trisagion Service will take place at 6:30 PM, to commemorate Michael's life.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, located at 520 Ponca Street. This sacred mass will offer solace and provide an opportunity for family, friends, and community members to come together in remembrance and support. Following the funeral service, Michael will be laid to rest at Oak Lawn Cemetery, into the peaceful embrace of eternity.

Michael's legacy of hard work, integrity, and love for his family will forever be remembered. May his soul find eternal peace and his memory live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
