In Loving Memory,

On Monday, January 1, 2024, Nancy Lynn Karr (nee Lookingland) was blessed with perfect healing, while surrounded by immediate family and loved ones. Nancy was born in Baltimore Maryland, raised in Dundalk and graduated from Patapsco High School in 1973.

Nancy enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother and dog owner, as she lived a selfless life, always putting everyone before herself. Nancy had a passion for entertaining family and friends. She frequently hosted crab feasts, card games, scrabble and summer pool parties, a place where everyone was welcome and so were their animals. Nancy enjoyed cooking and baking, feeding everyone warmed her soul. There was never a doubt that her late mother, Elizabeth (Betty) was her best friend, her oldest brother Gil was like a sister and her oldest nephew, Gilbert III (Baby Gil), she loved like a son.

Nancy was the widow of the late Michael Daniel Karr Sr., daughter of the late Gilbert and Elizabeth Lookingland Sr., and sister of the late Warren Lookingland and his late wife, Jane Lookingland. Nancy is survived by her loving sons, Robert and Michael Rychwalski and their wives, Erika and Amanda. Nancy was a loving and devoted grandmother to Victoria and Robert Rychwalski, grandogs, her oldest brother, Gilbert Lookingland Jr., his wife Carol, her brother Michael Lookingland and his wife, Hope. Additionally, Nancy was a loving and devoted aunt to 9 nieces, nephews and their spouses. Nancy was a great aunt to twenty-two great nieces and nephews, with the 23rd on the way. Nancy had a great love for her two dogs, Matilda and Spanky. Nancy loved playing Texas Hold'em, Scrabble and Pinochle.

The Memorial Service will be held on January 20, 2024, at First Lutheran of Gray Manor at 10 AM for immediate family and close friends. The service will be closed to the public. The Celebration of Life will begin shortly after at the Crescent Yacht Club, 1840 Cape May Road, Baltimore Maryland 21221 at 1:00 PM. All are welcome to join the family and friends as they celebrate Nancy's blessings, memories of her and the treasures left behind.
