Nicholas G Streaker

Nicholas Galen Streaker, at just 43, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on October 6th, 2021, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Although the other side claimed him far too soon, he lived a life that far exceeded the years he spent on this earth. Born in March of 1978 to Lawrence “Larry” Streaker and Rita De Marco in Rochester, New York, Nick came into this world as a bright light that shined on those around him.

After graduating from high school, Nick joined the US military in the branch the Army as a Cryptologic Linguist, where he reached the rank of Sergeant and received many awards for his service. His time spent serving the country was one of his proudest achievements, and many of those who had been deployed alongside him considered it an honor to be his friend. After he returned home from Iraq, he earned his Master’s degree at George Mason University in Telecommunications. Nick quickly became an accomplished professional in the cybersecurity world, taking on multiple positions as a Chief Technology Officer. But don’t let his titles fool you- Nick treated everyone around him like a friend and would never shy from helping someone in need. He was adored by friends, family, colleagues, and the staff at the 7-11 down the street from his home in Ellicott City.

A child at heart, Nick took the world in with bright eyes and big dreams. He had a childlike sense of wonder and loved building legos and mastering the art of Star Wars lore. He entered every room with a grand entrance and wouldn’t go a day without messaging his loved ones a pun-filled joke.

Nick married Lisa Locklear, his best friend, in 2017, who survived him. He is also survived by his children Rowan Streaker, Jack Streaker, Connor Crossfield, Daisy Crossfield, Autumn Moore, and Kayla Moore. He is also survived by his mother Rita De Marco, her partner Maureen Alston, his father Larry, his wife Barbara Streaker, and his younger sister Elizabeth Streaker.

His family would like to thank Connelly Funeral Home Of Dundalk for providing the service that will send him to this next stage of being.
