Nikolaos V. Tserkis, age 76, of Baltimore, MD passed away on October 22, 2018 surrounded by his family and friends. Born in Karpathos, Greece, he immigrated to Baltimore, Maryland in 1966 with the plan of bringing his siblings to the United States to live the American Dream. That dream came true as his time in America progressed. He worked as a painter, and shortly thereafter formed a family painting business with his brothers. Tserkis and Kalliopi Tserkis-Mullins, Eugenia Lentis, Sofia Houvardas, Maria Mihaili, his nephews, Paul Georgiou, Nikolaos M. Tserkis, Vasilios G. Tserkis, Sharon Tserkis and brother in laws, George Houvardas, and Ilias Mihaili as well as numerous grand nieces, grand nephews; and a host of extended relatives, godchildren and friends.
