It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nikoletta "Nikki" Roros on January 21, 2024. Nikki was born on December 14, 1989, in Maryland, and she was the beloved daughter of Despina Roros and Nicholas Roros.
Nikki, known for her warm smile and kind heart, touched the lives of those around her with her genuine spirit and infectious laughter. She truly found her passion in the art of hairdressing. As a dedicated barber, Nikki was known for her exceptional skills and creativity, always striving to create a unique and special experience for her clients. Her talent and unwavering commitment to her craft made her beloved by all who had the pleasure of sitting in her chair.
Nikki will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the community she so graciously served. She was a loving daughter to her mother, Despina, and her father, Nicholas. She was also the cherished granddaughter of the late Tsambiko Diakoloukas and Eleftheria Diakoloukas, as well as George and Nikoletta Roros. Nikki leaves behind her dear uncles George Diakoloukas, Basilios Roros and his wife Mary and John Roros. She will also be remembered fondly by her numerous cousins, relatives, and friends whose lives she touched in profound ways.
To honor and celebrate Nikki's life, funeral services and ceremonies will be held on January 25, 2024. Beginning at 10:00 am, a public viewing will take place at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, followed by a Mass at 12:00 pm. Finally, a graveside service will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery following the funeral ceremony. These services provide an opportunity for family, friends, and loved ones to pay their respects, share memories, and find solace in one another's presence.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. These donations will contribute to preserving Nikki's love for her faith and supporting the spiritual community that meant so much to her.
Nikki's passing leaves a void in our lives that can never be filled, but her spirit will forever live on in our hearts and memories. As we say goodbye to our beloved Nikki, let us remember her vivaciousness, her bright spirit, and the joy she brought into our lives. May she find eternal peace and comfort.
