Paulette Marie Cosgrove
February 8, 1955 - April 20, 2024
Paulette Marie (Earll) Cosgrove of Dundalk, Maryland passed away peacefully on April 20, 2024, at the age of 69.
Paulette M. Cosgrove was the loving wife of Fred Cosgrove Sr. for over 50 years, Dedicated Mother of Charlie Cosgrove and wife Bree, Cristie McNew and husband Ernie and Corie Cosgrove and wife Carrie. Grandmother of Paris Coleman, Samantha McNew, Cameron McNew, Emilie McNew, Mackenzie Young, Gavin Cosgrove, Gwen Cosgrove and Maggie Cosgrove. Proud Great Grandmother of Charlee and Aurora. Loving Sister of Dennis Earll and wife Trisha, Janie Wollschlager and husband Paul, Bette Allen and husband Dave, Susan LaRue and husband John and Buster Earll and wife Diane. Including in-laws Mary Trovato, Freda Raffo and Marie Morris. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and loving family and friends additionally survive Paulette.
Paulette had a lifelong career in the food service industry employed at Pizza John's restaurant in Essex, Maryland for nearly 40 years until her retirement to spend time with family and friends.
As a past President of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 148, Essex MD, Paulette served her community and veterans with patriotic pride.
Paulette was a fun spirited soul who displayed a unique talent for originality and creativity. Her incredible artistic talent enhanced all her pursuits, expressing her ability to gather few random items and create authentic costumes was limitless. Her joy of cooking for family and large gatherings to decorating for themed celebrations and holidays were applauded by all. Paulette was strong-willed and at times stubborn, but those traits did not define her, to know her was to love her. She also had an enormous heart and fun-loving spirit which always made her the life of the party. Paulette made an impact on many lives, and she will be forever missed by anyone that was fortunate to know her.
Crescent Yacht Club where Paulette held past position as Vice President of the Ladies Auxiliary Cresmates, was a second home to her and her beloved husband Fred that included an extended family of many club members. The time spent on their boat and cruising around Chesapeake Bay and beyond, was always full of fun, family, and friends.
Paulette was a strong fighter through her brain cancer illness, but she is now cruising in the turquoise waters of her dreams on a journey to shores that we cannot see.
Visitation with family with be on Friday April 26th, 2024, from 3-5 and 7-9 at the Connelly Funeral Home of DUNDALK, 7110 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk MD, 21222. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home during the Friday evening visitation at 8 pm. Deacon Herman Wilkins will officiate.
