On February 28, 2023, Perdika Stroumbis passed peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Nikolaos Stroumbis, her devoted daughter, Angeliki Stroumbis, her late son, Aristotelis Stroumbis, her daughter in law, Elissa Kyle Stroumbis, and many nieces and nephews.
Peri, as she was known to all that loved her, was born in Chios, Greece on October 11, 1937. She came to the United States in 1968 and has called Baltimore home ever since. Peri was the President of The Ladies Panchian Society for a number of years, the vice president of the Philoptochos society, and an active member of St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
Peri loved life and especially enjoyed preparing Greek food for her family and friends. She was always smiling, laughing, dancing and singing. She loved her family very much and always chose to be with them over anything else. Peri will be greatly missed by all those they knew and loved her. May her memory be eternal.
The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road on Sunday, March 5th from 2-6pm. A Trisagion service will be held at 5 pm. A funeral service for Peri will be held on Monday, March 6th, at 12pm at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 520 S. Ponca Street, Baltimore, MD 21224. Interment to follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
