Richard John Jamison Sr.

Rick will be forever remembered by wife Karen (nee Beddows) and their children Richard Jr. (Jamie) & wife Christy, Daughter Keri & husband Mike, Son Joshua and their Grandchildren Cross, Kenzie, Chylie, Kolton, and Lil. He is survived by Siblings Mary & husband Delbert, Michael & wife Rae, Bob & wife Sue and Pat & husband Rick.  Predeceased by his Parents, Jim & Norma Jamison, and Brother, Bill, Known affectionately by Rick, Dad, Daddy, Daddy-o, Pops, Brother Rick, Mr. Rick, and The Gradall Man.  Rick graduated Class of 73 Patapsco High School and went on to complete an Apprenticeship Program with Operating Engineers, Local 37.  He was a long time Operator with Potts & Callahan, honing his skills and becoming a premiere Gradall Operator.  Rick was the originator of Rick’s Gradall Rental.  He grew the fleet of Gradalls to be the largest on the East Coast with a base that exceeded 250 Clients.  Health and circumstance took Rick out of the Contracting Business but Rick’s Gradall Rental continues to carry his name to this day. Rick’s proudest accomplishments were the birth and education of his Children and the arrival of his Grandchildren! We take comfort in knowing that Rick lived each and every day exactly as he wanted and that he was true to himself even in his passing. Private Farewell and Cremation have been concluded.
