On August 2, 2017, Rose T. Rodman (nee Makovic), beloved wife of the late Victor Rodman; devoted mother of Patricia Fulgham and her husband David, Ron Rodman and his wife Lyn, Nancy Miller and her husband Brent, and the late Victoria Kahl; loving grandmother of Janna, Dale, Stacy, Melissa, Gregory, Jennifer, and the late Georgie; cherished great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.Rose was born in Nanticoke, PA. She was raised by her grandmother starting from the age of three after losing both of her parents. When she turned 15 she moved to New York City with her Sister Marie and Brother John. After 6 years of working there she moved to Baltimore and married Victor in 1943 and began raising a family. Rose really enjoyed traveling. She went to Mexico, Canada, Florida and South Carolina. One of her favorite trips was going to Atlantic City to gamble. We all called her Quarter Rosie. She loved all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The newest addition was born in 2016 and he gave her many happy moments. He always brought a smile to her face. Till the very end she loved watching the Orioles on TV and was looking for the new season starting for the Ravens. She will be sorely missed but now she is in a better place, Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Friday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service to celebrate Rose's life will be held on Saturday at 11AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. Donations may be made in Rose's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
