Roy Ross Hosier

    Roy Ross Hosier, lifelong resident of Dundalk, Maryland, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 after a brief illness. Roy was born November 16, 1960 to Ralph and Nancy (Browne) Hosier, who predeceased him. Graduate of Dundalk High School, he spent the rest of his life serving his community through many organizations including nearly 20 years with the Baltimore County Auxiliary Police and coaching various sports through the Baltimore County Recreation department. He would later join the Scottish Rite of Maryland and spent countless hours with Patapsco Masonic Lodge #183 serving as Master and Past Master. 

    A well loved man, Roy was always available with a helping hand and a quick joke. When not busy with his many organizations he enjoyed staying in touch with his friends and family, riding his motorcycle, and trips with his wife. He will be missed by all.

    A loving husband, Roy leaves behind a wife 39 and a half of years, Barbara. He was a devoted father to both Miranda and Michelle, and an indescribably proud Poppy to Emma, Claire, and Cullen. Roy is also survived by his brother Ronald of North East, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Ralph III and Raymond Hosier.

    The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road on Sunday from 2 to 5 PM, service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Patapsco Masonic Lodge #183 Scholarship Fund.
