Samuel Franklin Bentley

On February 19, 2020 Samuel Franklin Bentley passed from this life into eternity. He was a beloved husband of Ramona Bentley, devoted father of Jessica Bentley and her husband TJ Pawlikowski, Matthew Bentley and his wife Lauren, Kevin Bentley and Richard Bentley, loving grandfather of Evie Bentley and expected granddaughter Madelyn Bentley.

Sam loved to spend his Sundays with “The Breakfast Club,” which consisted of his wife, his brother Don, and sister in law Anna. Their Sunday adventures could extend breakfast to a ride to Ocean City on a whim. He also loved sitting by the water in Havre de Grace with Ramona, watching the boats and ducks while having an ice cream, which has also become a favorite for Evie. Sam enjoyed anything that Evie did. His devotion to his granddaughter was phenomenal. 

The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A funeral service for Samuel will be held  on Saturday 10 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.Charities that were close to Sam’s heart are The Humane Society of Harford County, Maryland Food Bank, and Alzheimer’s Association,
