Sandra Christine Amos

Ms. Sandra Christine Amos of Easton, Maryland and formerly of Edgemere, Maryland transitioned to the spiritual world on March 30, 2024. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 19, 1950, to the late Samuel L. and Wanda E. Amos. Sandra was a first-generation college graduate. She graduated with honors from Sparrows Point Senior High School in1968. In 1974 she graduated from Towson State University in Maryland with a BA degree in Elementary Education. She received a Supervisor Certificate from Accelerated Christian Education from Faith Bible Church, Elkridge, Maryland in 1986. She taught elementary education in both public and private schools. She had a huge Christian heart always looking out for the underdog. She loved her family and took care of her father in his home before he transitioned. She also loved animals, especially her cat Pete. She is survived by her children Jason Matthai of Missouri, and Julia Brunner of Maryland, her five grandchildren, Brandon Matthai, Cali Matthai, Madeline McLaughlin, Matthew Brunner and William Brunner. Her siblings Susan Amos, Sharon Amos, and Samuel Amos Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Thursday from 3-7 pm. A funeral service for Sandra will be held on Friday, 10 am at the funeral home. Interment at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
