On June 18, 2022, Sylvia M. Slone, beloved wife of the late John L Slone Sr.; devoted mother to Mary Ann Bennett and her friend Judy Rutkiewic, Deborah Mitchell and her husband William, Janet Jewell and her husband Charles, John Slone Jr. and his wife Kimberly, and Leisa Campbell and her husband Michael; cherished grandmother of William Mitchell III, Natalie Russell and her husband Brendan, Charles Jewell III and his wife Michelle, Joshua Jewell and his wife Julie, Courtney Bratt and her husband Dan, Kaitlyn Slone, Keira Slone, Sean Cusic, Jason Slone and his wife Faith, Megan See and her husband James, and the late Ryan Patrick Slone; loving great-grandmother of Kelly Russell, Graham Russell, Alyssa Jewell, Kaiden Jewell, Matthew Jewell, Logan Jewell, Carter Jewell, Tucker Jewell, Nolan Bratt, Madison Slone, Grace Slone, and Owen Michael See. 

Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Luke's Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sylvia's memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, or the Christian Appalachian Project.
