Theodore Schenning

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Theodore "Ted" Schenning on August 7, 2024.

Ted will forever be remembered by his beloved wife Colleen Schenning, his son Nicholas Schenning and daughter-in-law Amy, as well as his cherished grandson, Thorne Schenning. The impact of his presence in their lives will be deeply missed.

Ted had a unique sense of humor that he shared on occasion. He was a long time member of the Dart Club at Hop's Inn and Phillips Inn. In his spare time, he liked to watch movies, specifically ones pertaining to westerns, war, and the Mob. He enjoyed his night time TV programs of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, as well as the Orioles and Ravens games when in season. Some of Ted's hobbies were doing puzzles, gardening, having an extensive variety of magazine subscriptions, his favorite being National Geographic. He enjoyed cooking and loved making his spiral ham for holiday dinner. He enjoyed spending time with his family at home, especially with his grandson, Thorne. They never knew what Ted was going to have them explore from visit to visit.
