Thomas E. Benton

On May 2, 2018, Thomas E. Benton, beloved husband of Rose A. Benton;  devoted cousin to Nancy Loeffler, Glenn Wilson and Wayne Wilson; loving sister-in-law to Mary Jo McDowell and uncle to Audrey Kate and Ann Kristine McDowell.  Thom was a native of St. Helena, in Dundalk, MD.  He graduated from Dundalk High School in 1963.  He served in the Army in Viet Nam.  Current residence in St. Helena in his grandparents’ home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America.

Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Sunday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service to celebrate Thom's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 7, 2018. Thom will be cremated and the ashes taken to his favorite house in the West Virginia woods.
