Walter Edward Dolata Sr.

Walter Edward Dolata Senior was born on January 21, 1939, to the late Genevieve and Walter. He left us on March 15, 2023, after spending 50 years in active sobriety, and loyal service to the addictions and mental health communities. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, mentor, veteran, all-around good guy, and hero to many.

He has left behind his loving wife of 30 years, Debbie. His children; Predeceased by his son Karl, survived by Walter Jr., Chantel, Eric & Theresa, Tina, Erik, Nikki & Joe. His grandchildren; Devin, Desiré, Michael, Walter III & Sierra, Meghan, Christina, Nicholas, Nico, Logan, and Dagen. His great-grandchildren; Chloe, Willa, Olive, Jaxon, Sky, Chloe, Matthew, Mitchell and Madison.

Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Tuesday, March 21st from 3:00-5:00 PM & 7:00- 9:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Clements Church, 1212 Chesaco Avenue Baltimore, MD 21237, on Wednesday, March 22nd at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens, 5598 Trumps Mill Rd, Baltimore, MD 21206.

The family requests that donations be made to HUM Baltimore (Helping Up Mission) in his name in lieu of flowers to celebrate and continue his lifelong passion for helping others.
