William P. Ethridge

          On December 15, 2018, William P. Ethridge, husband of the late Ethel L. Ethridge, father of Kimberly A. Letke and Melodie Ritz, grandfather of Joseph T. Letke III, Blake Rodgers, Jessica Ritz, William Letke and Kyle Letke, uncle of Scott Mankewitz.  Mr. Ethridge was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Sylvia Ethridge, his sister Suzanne Ethridge and his sons Joseph T. Letke and Mark Letke.           Mr. Ethridge, "Phil" was born July 1, 1944 in Etowa, Tennesse, Phil moved to Dundalk, MD at age 7. At the completion of high school he entered into the armed forces and served his country in The United States Marine Corp and gained rank of M-P. Following his time served he joined the Baltimore City Police Department training in the K-9 Unit and Bomb Investigative Service where he retired from after 28 years. Phil was a long time active member of the American Legion Post 38. Serving as a Post Commander and Post 38 Honor Guard Team. He additionally was active with the Viet Nam Veteran Association and the Trial Club.           Visitation with family will be held on Thursday from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME of DUNDALK 7110 Sollers Point Road.  A Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM from the funeral home. Interment will follow with military Honors at the Garden of Faith Cemetery.
