William J. Hartman

William "Bill" Joseph Hartman,  devoted husband, father and grandfather, died peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family.  He was 66 years old.  Bill was born February 13, 1951 to Albert and Marion (Blumberg) Hartman of Baltimore, M.D.  He retired in 2015 from 36 years of service at Chicago Metallic.  Bill was loved by everyone, and never met a stranger.  Preceded in death by his parents and two of his brothers Albert Jr. and Murphy.Survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Dot (Pirisino) Hartman, 3 siblings, Dorsey Jones (Carter), Tommy Hartman (Joanne) and Jimmy Hartman, children Ron Zakowsky (Andrea), Mark Zakowsky (Diana) Concetta Pepin (Russell) and William Hartman, Jr. (Kym),  10 grandchildren, Heather Gavern (Frank IV), Joshua, Jacob, Juliann and Joseph Hartman, Russell, Connor, and Ryan Pepin, and Trevor  and Tyler Zakowsky and 2 great-grandchildren, Hopelynn and FJ Gavern. Visitation with family will be at the CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK, 7110 Sollers Point Road on Thursday 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 PM from the funeral home, Pastor David Erickson will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
