William Edward Underwood

William Edward Underwood Jr. (Billy) Maintenance Technician for the Port of Authority and lifelong resident of Dundalk, MD died unexpectedly on May 21, 2021 at the age of 57. Billy is survived by his father William Underwood Sr. (Ted) (wife Brenda); loving wife Kimberly (nee Vogel); his daughter Erin (husband Brett) and his 3 granddaughters, Braelynn, Brooklynn and Rielynn; son William III and his grandson Jace; Brother Matthew (wife Mary), Randal (wife Joyce), Timothy (wife Brenda Ann); Sister Kelly; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother Gladys May Underwood (nee Douglas).

Billy was born on November 17th 1963 to William Edward Underwood Sr. and Gladys May Underwood in Baltimore, MD. He graduated from Dundalk High School with the class of 1981. On July 20th 1990 he married Kimberly. Billy a devoted son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and Pop Pop. Billy was fond of reading the Bible and was knowledgably of the scriptures. He grew up looking forward to the adventures of the family camping trips. He enjoyed the annual family ski trip to Seven Springs, PA. He loved sailing and kayaking…basically anything to do with the water. Throughout the years he enjoyed playing softball with many of his friends, and cruising around the neighborhood on his bicycle. On the weekend you may even spot him at the local flea market or antiquing. Billy also had an interest in working with his hands making knives and more recently making wooden spoons.
A viewing will be held 4-7pm on Thursday May 27, 2021 at Connelly Funeral Home on 7110 Sollers Point Rd. A service will be held starting at 7pm.

Billy’s infectious smile and blue eyes will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
